With
12 active members, and new members
being recruited each year, this is a very
special calling for the children of St.
Andrew's. Led by our very dedicated directress,
since 1996, this group never lacks members and
is versed in all duties of an acolyte, including
crucifer, torch bearers, assisting the priest,
etc.

Our Altar Guild Directress
schedules six women who work to prepare the
sanctuary for the weekly celebration of the
Eucharist as well as appropriate
polishing/decorating for the major holidays.

The Lay Readers and Eucharistic
Ministers, while currently small in
number, are extremely dedicated to their service
here at St. Andrew's.

At
St. Andrew's, our music ministry is a
major part of the worship service. The Senior
choir consists of 8-10 men and women who
dedicate their time and talent on a weekly
basis, as well as a music director/organist.
Along with the "regulars" we are fortunate to
have 3-4 young adults who join us at various
times during the year. Several members in the
choir, and in the congregation, have various
musical talents that they very graciously share,
including playing the flute, trumpet, recorder,
guitar, drums, and more. At. St. Andrew's we
are also blessed to have a Junior Choir that
consists of 6-8 children. Once a month St.
Andrew's has a Family Service, and the Junior
Choir takes the place of the Senior Choir for
that particular service. They also sing at other
special occasions during the year - Christmas,
Thanksgiving, Easter, etc.

The Newcomers and Evangelism Committee
is charged with organizing and evaluating the
needs of St. Andrew's Parish with regards to
growth of its membership. Currently there are
six dedicated members that are actively pursuing
ways to accomplish this growth. They have been
studying and preparing for over a year and are
now reaching a time that they can put their
goals into practice. Recently, some members of
the committee attended an "Evangelism in the
Small Church" one day conference, sponsored by
the Diocese.
