Our
outreach to our own church and the
diocese and to the community at large takes many
forms. We have had delegated to the Ecumenical
Council and are presently represented in the
Grafton Clergy Association. We participate in
the U.T.O. At Thanksgiving, we provide food for
families in town in need. Also, at Christmas we
provide gifts, clothing and food baskets for two
local families. Along with other churches in the
community, the first Sunday in each month is
Market Basket Sunday when our parishioners bring
non-perishable goods for food pantries for the
needy. The church sponsors two children through
the Christian Children's Fund. The children are
from Honduras and Sri Lanka. We also have
provided items of personal need for residents of
Jeremiah's Inn. Our monthly newsletter keeps
many informed of our activities. In the past
our facilities have been made available to a Boy
Scout Troup, the Grafton Ecumenical Choir and
the Newcomers Group for Grafton. The Grafton
Garden Club has held annual flower shows in our
parish hall. Our facilities are made available
to AA and YMCA programs weekly. They are also
available to the Child Care Connection which
holds educational workshops on child care and
early childhood education. The Shakespeare Club
has held their yearly dinner here in the past.
The facilities are always available for
individuals and groups.
